Reviews
The food is always very good and tasty. They never fail. I normally get the turkey and provolone, but time I got the big khauna and it was very good.
As someone with celiac disease, Jersey Mike's is generally one of the few restaurants I feel safe to eat at. It is very rare that I order food out because most restaurants have no allergy protocols. I have been to other Jersey Mike locations and they have always been very conscientious to avoid any cross contact with gluten containing products. However, I left this location feeling really anxious and discouraged. The employee who took my order seemed annoyed when I asked questions about their procedures to avoid cross contamination, something I've learned I have to do because not everyone is aware of how even a crumb from a knife could leave someone like me sick and in severe pain for several days to weeks. The meat slicer was my biggest concern because it had flecks of food all over it, even though she told me she just cleaned it. I was left with a choice to throw out my sandwich, uneaten, or take my chances and trust that it was only meat and cheese bits left on the slicer. To top all that off, she was careless in slicing the bread so one side was significantly thicker than the other side, and all the toppings and condiments were put on haphazardly so when I went to eat it, one half of the sandwich was very dry, while the other seemed to have all of the condiments and pickles.
Please train your employees to follow celiac safe protocols and to be kind. I know it takes a little extra time and I all too often feel like a burden and annoyance having to ask these questions, but the alternative for me and others with celiac disease is risking not only being sick for a few days, but also causing irreversible damage to internal organs and nerves.
Person taking the order was very good. What happened to my order after that is a mystery. Sandwich was incorrect, but did contain some mysterious crunchy pieces that I definitely did not want. The cashier who rang my up was very nice, although she had to maneuver her way around the co-worker who was sleeping on the register.
Disappointed.
This is the 3rd time I've been in this joint and I guess I can now say that my overall experiences have been disappointingly average.
The service is always average, the sub procuring is average, the taste is average, the price is average, the whole vibe is average.
I would also highly recommend against getting it "Mike's Way." That is unless you enjoy having oil & vinegar with a side of sub.
Yes, the photos may not say so because I simply can not take a bad photo but it's definitely a sogwhich.
Great experience at this location. Tons of staff, all of them friendly, quick, and helpful. Food was tasty -- meat is sliced fresh when you order!
There's seating inside and outside. Very clean and organized.
While the food may be good, this is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. These people won’t lift a finger to help and have the ugliest scowls on their faces. I will personally drive to a different location from now on. Hire new staff.
5 stars for the food being as expected. The location appears to have had several improvements, including the upholstery being updated. The employees are still slow at keeping the floor swept and tables wiped down. When I arrived all of the staff were in the back. The floor is littered and most of the tables and chairs are dirty.
The last 2 times there wasn't the same as usual, not as much care being put into the hot subs like they used to..but still hits the spot if your hungry
